Air Navigation Pro serves as a high-caliber flight assistant, providing a suite of functionalities essential for both recreational and professional pilots:

• Moving Map: Utilize an interactive moving map to plan and navigate seamlessly. Select from aeronautical charts, satellite imagery, or vector maps as backgrounds. The map displays waypoints, NOTAM, obstacles, and airspaces sourced from an extensive, regularly updated global aeronautical database. Tap on map elements to create routes effortlessly. Customize displayed data such as altitude, vertical speed, bearing, distance to waypoints, and estimated times of arrival. Input departure and arrival procedures to visualize them directly on the map.
• Enhanced Traffic Awareness: Receive visual and audio alerts in multiple languages regarding nearby conflicting traffic. Choose from traffic icons representing generic, aircraft-specific, or TCAS symbols. Our partnership with SafeSky provides live traffic data integration, ensuring heightened safety during flight operations. This feature is included in various subscription tiers, offering an integrated safety solution.
• Advanced Weather Layers: Besides basic wind and TAF/METAR weather reports, subscribers of the highest plan can activate overlay layers such as rain radar, wind patterns, pressure maps, cloud coverage, visibility conditions, and wind gusts. For select European regions—Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and the Balkans—GAFOR reports are available. Tap any map point to retrieve localized weather information and access forecasts up to three days in advance.
• NOTAM: When planning routes with future departure times configured, the app dynamically displays relevant NOTAMs active during those periods through color-coded indicators on the map.
• SmartChart: Experience a detailed vector-based mapping tool that adjusts information density based on zoom level. The SmartChart enhances terrain differentiation via optimized shading and maintains clear text alignment for readability. Recent updates include richer forest detail and comprehensive airport data.
• Elevation Profile & Synthetic View: Enable the profile display beneath the navigation bar to gain foreknowledge of terrain elevation along your route. Customize corridor width (0-5 NM) and overlay features such as airspaces, obstacles, NOTAM, wind data, and populated areas. Switch to the synthetic view for additional terrain insights accompanied by an artificial horizon with altitude and vertical speed indicators. This mode supports panoramic navigation while preparing for departure. Activation of Terrain Awareness Warning System (TAWS) is available in both views.
